Orthopedic trauma is a severe injury to the part of the musculoskeletal system and result of an accident or a mishap which requires immediate surgery. They cover the whole spectrum of simple fractures to severe life-threatening accidents with multiple broken bones.
It specializes in problems related to the bones, joints and soft tissues of the entire body following trauma. The main goal of traumatic surgeries is the healing of fractured bones as well as restoring the anatomic alignment of the joint surfaces and allowing the recovery.

Day 1
After the physical assessment, you shall be medically investigated for your Knee problem. Once investigations and medical assessment are completed your surgery shall be planned. You will be advised to get admitted on the day of surgery.
Day 2
Discharge process is undertaken. You will be appraised about the post-discharge exercises to be done at home and will also be explained about the discharge medication and follow up. You will be discharged in stable condition.
Follow up and Recovery
In the follow-up visit, the doctor will see the healing process. When the knee has healed, physical therapies will be suggested to improve your mobility. You will also be able to perform normal activities.
